To the editor (of the Telegram):
I am writing in support of Martha Weaver in her candidacy for Malone town justice
Martha has both the experience and the temperament to be an effective town justice.
She has good management credentials including being the county’s Empire Zone manager, a position that according to local officials was handled very capably by her. Martha also ran the county’s small business center.
She also has experience in managing a West Coast village where she formerly lived.
Martha also has a very good sense of serving the community, as is seen by her tenure as the Malone Rotary president, followed by her election to Rotary governor general presiding over 60 Canadian and Northern New York clubs.
Martha’s calm but firm temperament would allow her to deal firmly but fairly with court clients.
I believe Martha Weaver would make a competent and dependable town justice.
